    • Engineering of assigned area of glass fabrication
    • Manage process related tooling in preparation for eachproduction run
    • Trouble-shoot line operations
    • Issue and revise drawing and process sheets as a result ofcontinuous improvement in the process.
    • Develop and implement continuous improvement in capabilityand/or scrap reduction
    • Verify conformance of components to customer specifications
    • Analyse weekly production results, identify deficiencies andimplement the necessary improvements
    • Work with operators to reduce defects, increase throughputand improve the products' dimensional capability
    Train operators how to safely and effectively operate plantequipment and machineryREQUIREMENTSEducation:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (, Mechanical,Manufacturing or Electrical) or any equivalent technicaldegree

    Six Sigma certified is preferredYears of Experience:

    • 3+ years' in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
    • PLC experience preferred
    Fluent in use of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)Other Requirements:

    • Experience with manufacturing equipment or assemblylines
    • Solid understanding of Six Sigma, SPC, 5 Why, Paretoand other tools to improve and sustain production levels
    • Proven understanding of tools, quality of product andability to implement improvements to operations
    • Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may berequired as work load or projects dictate, includingweekends and holidaysKEY COMPETENCIES
    • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft OfficeSuite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
