- Engineering of assigned area of glass fabrication
- Manage process related tooling in preparation for eachproduction run
- Trouble-shoot line operations
- Issue and revise drawing and process sheets as a result ofcontinuous improvement in the process.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement in capabilityand/or scrap reduction
- Verify conformance of components to customer specifications
- Analyse weekly production results, identify deficiencies andimplement the necessary improvements
- Work with operators to reduce defects, increase throughputand improve the products' dimensional capability
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (, Mechanical,Manufacturing or Electrical) or any equivalent technicaldegree
- 3+ years' in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
- PLC experience preferred
- Experience with manufacturing equipment or assemblylines
- Solid understanding of Six Sigma, SPC, 5 Why, Paretoand other tools to improve and sustain production levels
- Proven understanding of tools, quality of product andability to implement improvements to operations
- Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may berequired as work load or projects dictate, includingweekends and holidaysKEY COMPETENCIES
- Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft OfficeSuite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis

- Effective communication and interpersonal skillsdemonstrated in a team environment
