    Our Accounting Department is looking for one (1) Senior Accountant to join our team in De Pere, WI.

    As an accountant for Jones Sign you will join a team of professionals focused on delivering precise reporting while maintaining integrity within our financial reporting.

    This position is an in-office position based out of our De Pere, WI facility.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Assist in preparation of monthly income statement and balance sheet with ability to understand and analyze the underlying transactions.
    Perform month-end closing activities and reconciliations.
    Prepare various special financial reports.
    Perform general job cost accounting.
    Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
    Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
    Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
    Perform any other special duties, projects or analyses as directed by the company.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related experience.
    Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
    Previous experience in an Accounting or Finance focused role that required a working knowledge of accounting processes.

    Solid understanding of accounting general ledger and month end close, as well as financial reporting including Balance Sheet and Income Statements.

    Candidates should also be proactive, internally motivated, and willing to drive change in a fast-paced organization while maintaining integrity and compliance.

    Candidates should possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to solve problems and help implement those solutions.

    Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
    Candidates should be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
