    Jobot is supporting one of our Most Exciting Clients in the DFW Area in their process of Developing an Inhouse Software Development Team.

    They are currently going through a Migration to a more Modern Platform encompassing React, AWS/GCP, Microservices, Serverless Architecture, and more.

    The primary focus of this role is to help with the Backend Processes, but will eventually lead to some Greenfield Development.

    *Our client is developing their Internal Software Development Teams. The Director and Software Architect are looking for a Mid-Level Developer that can be a part of their team (you must pass the "beer test"). We're looking for an inquisitive and excited Software Engineer to demonstrate their abilities and personality.
    The Application Developer works on a system of digital tools that support our platform's CRM and Loyalty functions. The system is comprised of cloud-hosted web apps, APIs, batch jobs, serverless functions, relational databases, and search indexes.

    Develop both the back-end and front-end components of the Loyalty Management System using MySQL, PHP, Python and related technologies.

    Develop the CI/CD pipelines of the system using AWS CloudFormation, Packer, Chef, GitHub and related technologies.
    Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
    Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality and bug-free software.
    Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high traffic and large datasets.

    Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, actively contributing innovative ideas to improve processes and software development practices.

    Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing technical support to users when necessary.
    Member of a cross-functional Agile development team, actively participating in the various Scrum ceremonies.
    Be part of an on-call rotation that closely monitors the system during high-volume business hours.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    ~5+ years of proven experience as a Full-Stack PHP Developer, or similar role, in a hybrid-cloud enterprise application environment.
    ~Comfortable working with relational database platforms such as MySQL, including writing optimized queries, and solving complex data-related issues.
    ~Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud, and experience in implementing cloud-native solutions.
    ~Experience in building APIs and integrating with third-party APIs.
    ~Experience developing web-based UIs using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
    ~Git) and automated CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, common design patterns, writing clean code, and refactoring.
    ~Proficient with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Experiencing building and deploying AWS resources (EC2s, Hosted Zones, Load Balancers, S3, SQS, Lambda) using CloudFormation, Packer, and Chef, or similar tools.
    Experience programming with Python.
    Experience working on CRM and Loyalty systems.
    Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
