- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to address students' social-emotional development, academic challenges, and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans and support strategies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' special education eligibility and services.
- Support school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting positive behavior, mental health awareness, and a supportive learning environment.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- California state School Psychologist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, counseling techniques, and special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and needs.
