- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC and NC controlled machines to maintain production, quality, and cleanliness as necessary
- Operate and conduct quality checks on all CNC machines
- Utilize CNC Machine and other tools for reworking engine blocks, heads, and other components
- Detect and report any defective materials or questionable conditions
- Assist in training and enhancing the skills of machine operators as required
- Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions
- Interpret CNC programs, including JIS, JMI, CMM data, Gagelt
- Monitor processes using Infinity
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sanding tasks
- Inspect machined products, maintain quality standards, and document outcomes
- Complete and organize paperwork for all parts and work orders
- Execute any other assigned duties
- Minimum of 1 year of CNC Machinist experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in reading technical documents and blueprints
- Independent and proactive work approach
- Ability to analyze situations and identify optimal solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Team player with effective communication skills
- At least 1 year of CNC Machinist experience with metals and/or alloys
- An Industry Certification and/or relevant two-year technical degree
- Experience training others in a machining environment
- $25.50 hourly starting rate, with a 7% Shift Premium Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed

Job Summary:
IPSD presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist II at our Machining facility in Schertz, TX. As a CNC Machinist II, you will contribute to various engine block machining lines with a focus on rework operations. This role requires flexibility to support different areas, assist in meeting customer and company needs, and report to section managers.
What you will do:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift at least 35lbs.
