    NOTE: This project has two phases. Phase 1 expected for 1 month until 6/28 with be creating Sharepoint. Phase 2 expected until potentially November will be modernizing Sharepoint.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Implement changes and updates to the Sharepoint in Microsoft 365 site collection, to include modernizing the wiki and web part pages by creating modern site pages, and rebuilding classic publishing portals as modern publishing portals. This includes optimizing the usage of modern lists and libraries as well as site content and usage pages and connecting sites to Microsoft 365 groups, identifying security vulnerabilities and deploying safeguards, as well as engaging in knowledge transfer, training, and support of administrators and/or users of the system.

    SCOPE OF WORK

    • The majority of work will be enhancing and modernizing the Sharepoint online site collection. This includes all Sharepoint online sites used and/or created by programs or groups and resolution of existing and future errors or system issues.
    • Contractor will work with the Applications and Database Manager to review and prioritize the existing list of outstanding tasks to be completed and will provide accurate system analysis to appropriately determine any additional tasks including those that will create better site usage, efficiency, and security.
    • Contractor will assist the Applications and Database Manager in determining the best path to transition ongoing tasks to the Program and/or technical support staff.

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Individuals have the necessary skills and experience to assist in Sharepoint in Microsoft 365 Management and Microsoft 365 Management.
    • Individuals shall function effectively with very little supervision, while maintaining a high professional standard.
    • Ability to independently modify and maintain Sharepoint site pages, links, lists, and other Sharepoint related items.
    • Ability to evaluate Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint errors, and determine and rectify root causes.
    • Ability to interview Sharepoint site users, owners, and administrators to identify needs or concerns to be addressed.
    • Ability to analyze problems independently and in collaboration with the programs, outside vendors, and end users.
    • Ability to make decisions and use independent judgement to choose appropriate actions after reviewing alternatives.
    • Provide technical assistance and training to Sharepoint administrators and application users.
    • Must be able to work as a team.

    Adheres to the State/DPBH security policies.

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS DESIRED

    1. Working knowledge of IT best practices regarding Microsoft 365.
    2. Working experience with Sharepoint, Sharepoint Modernization Scanner, and Readiness Toolkit is preferred.
    3. Working experience at the State and Federal Government level is preferred.
