- Creates sales orders, invoices, and manages the billing process in a timely manner.
- Manages payment application process to ensure payments are properly coded to customer's accounts timely.
- Handle all customer correspondence regarding payment status, invoice requests and inquiries, including researching and resolving accounts receivable issues with account managers and customers.
- Issue customer credit memos, ensuring appropriate back up documentation is included and proper approvals.
- Manages the collection process and ensures customers adhere to their credit limits.
- Support month-end and year-end close.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Supports customer master data including setting up customers properly and working with sales on credit applications.
- Reconcile customer statements.
- Assist with updating pricing sheets for the salespeople
- 3-5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in AR
- Previous experience in construction
- Very Proficient using Microsoft Excel (putting together spreadsheets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
- Previous experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Job DescriptionOur client, a construction company located in Englewood, is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to become part of our growing business.
In this role, you will be a key member of the local team and will work with the accounting team at corporate Headquarters.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will report to the General Manager at the local branch.
