    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications for a busy trauma center.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with coverage for ED, inpatient, and OR cases
    Serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
    Three 12-hour day shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
    Specialized in X-ray procedures; experience with Siemens, Mckesson, or GE equipment preferred
    Uses Cerner EMR (preferred)
    Rotating shifts, holiday, and inclement weather coverage required
    Responsible for performing X-ray imaging in a fast-paced, acute care environment
    First-time travelers are accepted for this position
    Must be able to work at least 50 percent of holidays during the contract
    Role may involve frequent contact with patients having contagious illnesses
    RTO must be submitted at application for approval; exceptions are not permitted
    Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
    Scrub attire per facility policy

    Requirements
    Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience and at least 1 year in the X-ray specialty
    Current ARRT and BLS certifications required; ACLS preferred
    Must have MO or Compact license at time of consideration; license required if applicable
    Experience in Level 1 Trauma centers, ED, inpatient, and operating room settings required
    Ability to meet physical demands including ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
