**Warehouse Associate/Customer Pick-Up**
**in Plymouth, MN**
**(Regular Part Time)**
Our Customer Pick Up associates at Plymouth serve the showroom and our customers by pulling and loading product, and ensuring that transfers are completed correctly and efficiently. The primary duties include loading product into customer's vehicles and interacting with the customers in a courteous and professional manner, receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment and products within the distribution center. These employees work to maintain inventory accuracy, and help the showroom look and function as great as it can be

Must demonstrate computer literacy including ability to use inventory managment system, internet, email, and MS Office Products.

**CUSTOMER & SHOWROOM SERVICE**
Interact with customers and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner
Change light bulbs in the showroom as needed and adjust to highlight product
Maintain showroom appearance through light cleaning, vacuuming, and tidying up
Pull and load product from pick sheets
Help respond to phone calls and requests from the showroom
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
**INVENTORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Zone placement accuracy
Cycle scans
Year-end inventory or any full showroom inventory
Disassemble and prep product for pickup, transfers, and floor model displays
Receive transfers, which includes scanning and tagging direct shipments from manufacturers and the main warehouses
Unpacking merchandise
Assembling and resetting floor models to ensure they are showroom ready
Assisting with showroom floor arrangement
Hang rugs
Manage paperwork efficiently, such as shipping product and invoices quickly and accurately
Prepare product for transport in customers vehicles by properly tying down, applying wrap or protective materials to product
Accurately record all products shipped to the off site warehouse
Ensure that all transfers are pulled and tagged correctly, and loaded safely onto the truck
Ensure the distribution center receives all necessary transfer information and it is entered correctly in the computer system
**MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY**
Monitor cookie shop for cleanliness
Maintain showroom entrance daily, including snow removal or sweeping
Clear snow from all fire exits
Clean parking lot
Provide assistance to the operations manager, showroom management, and visuals as needed
Print and place price cards and CT stickers
Maintain stock levels of take with items
Maintain carts, tools, strollers, and supplies as assigned
Clean strollers weekly
Maintain quality of furniture, which includes ordering replacement merchandise when needed or arranging for repair of damaged goods
Ladders may be involved in some types of tasks
Must be over 18 years of age to operate any equipment, such as trash compactors or lifts
Adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participates in departmental stretching program, and overall maintains a safe working environment
Education and/or Experience Must have or be currently working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and one to three months related experience and or training. Language Skills Fluent in the English language, in both verbal and written formats. Requires skills to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Possess skills to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills Mathematical aptitude to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Also requires skills to compute rate, ratio, percentage, and interpret graphs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data or figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, and using measurement devices.
Reasoning Ability Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Need to be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemical sprayer to apply lacquer or fabric protection to product. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
