    Description

    Lead Electrical/Controls Technician Wanted

    Salary $80K - 95K, No Travel Required

    About the Role

    We are seeking a skilled hands-on problem solver with a passion for automation to join our team as a Lead Electrical/Controls Technician.

    This is a key role that involves troubleshooting and supporting electrical issues on production lines, facility equipment, and infrastructure at our St. Louis site.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage troubleshooting/support for electrical issues on production lines and facility equipment across the campus.
    • Conduct routine and advanced PLC program modifications through project upgrades and maintenance activities.
    • Develop new control systems for automation projects.
    • Lead troubleshooting for equipment PLC programs to minimize downtime.
    • Create new PLC programs where necessary.
    • Design and implement control systems using sensors, motion control, and feedback loops.

    Requirements

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Electrical Technology or Controls Systems preferred).
    • 4-6 years of relevant electrical controls technician experience in manufacturing.
    • Capable of interpreting and applying NEC, NFPA, and OSHA codes.
    • Familiar with 3-phase electrical power applications.
    • Experience with RS500, RS5000, Studio5000, and View Studio.
    • Experience with servo motors and controls.
    • Demonstrated ability with PLC troubleshooting, interface, and programming skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and prints.
