    Insurance Specialist-Temp

    Assist with claim processing, verify insurance eligibility, and communicate with payers and patients. Key responsibilities include following up on claims status, resolving rejections, and analyzing correspondence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Follow up on claim status via insurance portals or calls to payers to determine adjudication details.
    • Communicate with payers and patients as needed to resolve claim rejections challenge processing decisions verify insurance coverage.
    • Determine patient eligibility for coordination of benefits review payer correspondence investigate electronic claim rejections submit claims process corrections secondary insurances updated addresses research requests payment retractions monitor notify management trends issues meet exceed productivity quality KPI goals perform other duties assigned.
