SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on new product development (NPD) and testing.

As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing innovative products, with a particular emphasis on sheet metal, machined, cast, and molded component engineering.

Your expertise will be critical in ensuring our products meet performance, quality, and cost-efficiency standards.

You will contribute by:

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and contribute to all stages of the new product development process, from concept ideation to design, prototyping, and final production.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure the successful execution of NPD projects.

Drive innovation by proposing creative solutions and engineering designs that align with market demands and company goals. Leverage your expertise in sheet metal, machined, cast, and molded component engineering to develop robust product designs. Ensure designs meet structural, functional, and aesthetic requirements while adhering to industry standards. Apply DFM principles to optimize product designs for ease of manufacturing, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve design-related issues and implement improvements that enhance production efficiency. Plan, execute, and oversee product testing and validation processes, including reliability, durability, and performance testing. Analyze test data and feedback to make informed design modifications and improvements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE BS in Mechanical engineering 8+ years of experience in sheet metal, machined, cast, and molded component engineering and testing.

Proven experience in a new product development environment Strong understanding of manufacturing processes In-depth knowledge of 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., Solid Works) Experience with testing and analysis tools (such as MATLAB or LabVIEW) Proficient with applied mathematical statistics, design, and business systems.
