- Key member of the Tangerine Operations Leadership Team, collaborating on the development of key business strategies, prioritization of strategic initiatives, and participating and/or leading initiatives designed to support the strategy of Tangerine.
- Provides insightful business analysis and oversees the reporting of monthly, quarterly and year-end results to various stakeholders, including commentaries, to drive a deep understanding of operational results.
- Identifies opportunities to improve key metrics against industry benchmarks. Leads in supporting the development of content for key presentations and business sessions.
- Builds and implements processes and provides strategic direction on initiatives within Tangerine Operations including the development of short and long-term strategies to drive scalability.
- Conducts research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for Tangerine Operations including customer centric innovation, scalability, and efficacy.
- Acts as the central point of contact on a variety of projects and initiatives to ensure that they are well planned, coordinated and successfully implemented in a consistent manner across impacted stakeholder groups.
- Partners with and provides direction to Tangerine/CB Finance to ensure ongoing forecasted results are accurate. Provides input based on industry analysis and trending, including potential obstacles. Ensures the impact of business cases are accounted for within plan, while concurrently

Purpose
Leads and oversees the strategy, transformation and planning processes for Tangerine Operations, as well as supporting delivery and execution of key operational initiatives.
The role is responsible for providing thought leadership to drive strategic change and partners with the operations leadership team in the identification of appropriate plans and initiatives in support of the business strategy.
Accountabilities
Experience
10+ years of strategy experience, including working with senior leaders across operations, technology, and product functions
Proven track record in strategy development, including in-depth experience and demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary initiatives of varying sizes and complexity, efficiently and effectively, ensuring all elements of change are considered, understood and managed
Strong organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize a number of concurrent projects
Excellent visionary, planning and analytical skills
Ability to take calculated, enterprising risks supported by clear rationale (eg. industry trends, competitive research and positive cost/benefit analysis)
Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills (written and oral) to influence all levels of the organization through the presentation of insight based on sound experiences
Strong leadership, communications, relationship management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate a positive and effective team environment at all levels of the organization
Education
University degree; business/commerce preferred
