- Lead the design and development of scalable and adaptable container/serverless solutions in AWS with an "automation first" approach.
- Implement an enterprise-wide architectural strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define technology standards that support development, technical services, and delivery teams.
- Ensure that architectural solutions remain aligned with business goals, even when adapting to unforeseen challenges.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor solutions and make recommendations for adoption or enhancements to support business objectives.
- Implement and enforce development and architecture best practices across various enterprise platforms.
- Proactively mitigate risks by implementing effective design and architectural decisions, ensuring both streamlined processes and adherence to a cloud-native approach.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in architectural principles and design.
- Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies to various stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to top management and technical teams.
- Proven experience designing and implementing high-throughput and highly available solutions in AWS exclusively built with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Python, Git, and Bash is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS standards, best practices, and effective utilization strategies.
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as: ECS Fargate, RDS Aurora, Cloudfront, Lambda.
- Strong expertise in AWS networking and cross account interactions.
- Minimum 6 years experience supporting production infrastructure in the Cloud.
- Experience in participating in technical discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Experience writing technical documents like Architecture diagrams
- Demonstrated ability to automate complex processes into streamlined pipelines.
- Strong familiarity using a Terraform deployment automation service like Atlantis, Spacelift, TFCloud.
- Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
