    Associate Marketing Manager


    Under general direction from a Marketing Program Manager, the Associate Marketing Manager implements direct response marketing projects (print, email, digital campaigns, collateral, etc.) to drive awareness and usage of the AAA Discounts & Rewards and the AAA branded Visa credit card programs.

    The successful candidate will manage initial strategy, creative development, implementation, outline next step recommendations, and consistently measure campaign success through key metrics.

    This role takes a lead in coordinating the activities for vendor partners, agencies, internal staff, and other stakeholders to ensure all projects are completed accurately, on time, on budget, and on strategy.


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with the product teams to develop and implement marketing plans for strategic partners to help drive awareness and usage of the Discounts & Rewards program
    Collaborate with our agency and internal product team to develop and implement marketing plans to support revenue and new account acquisition goals for AAA Visa credit card
    Update and optimize the AAA website category pages with seasonally relevant partner offers throughout the year
    Analyze tracking mechanisms for assigned projects and perform basic results analysis, proactively offering solutions and recommendations for next steps to management
    Identify the impact of marketing projects on the various channels (web, email, digital, social) and communicate with all appropriate business units and stakeholders
    Take initiative to reach out to proper stakeholders (internal and external) and coordinate communication to achieve objectives
    Manage budgets and forecasting for the Discounts & Rewards and AAA Visa Credit Card programs


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or Business Administration is preferred
    Minimum of 3-5 years of prior marketing experience in an advertising agency or client-side marketing role is required
    Strong knowledge and experience with direct response marketing and project management are required
    Experience developing marketing plans and managing a marketing budget is required
    Must be able to multi-task and have the capability to manage competing priorities under general direction
    Work with Product and Legal teams to ensure accuracy with all relevant aspects of a project
    Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to problem-solve and provide suggestions or alternative options to unexpected situations and scenarios
    Must have excellent communication, presentation, and solid writing skills
    Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
    Tableau and Adobe analytics experience are a plus
    This position is hybrid - Work at the Administration Offices in Costa Mesa (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and work-from-home (Monday and Friday)

    The starting pay range for this position is:

    $82, $109,500.00

    Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
