    Description
    job summary:
    A Mechanical Engineer Senior is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This position will lead mechanical design and development for cab seats and controls, collaborating cross-functionally, managing suppliers, and ensuring quality.

    responsibilities:
  • Position in Cab Driving Team, focusing on Seat/Controls development

  • Work with cross-functional teams and suppliers

  • Execute studies and releases in Catia

  • Preferably experienced in seat development, Catia, and kola

  • Lead a defined technical expertise area with moderate complexity

  • Lead mechanical design engineering within a technical team

  • Ensure quality and readiness of deliverables before release

  • Spread knowledge and develop team competence

  • Manage networking across the organization

  • Provide inputs to project prerequisites based on component history
