- Own end-to-end new business opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Personally source, shape, and qualify new business opportunities.
- Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract close for multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Develop, maintain, and execute account plans for national security clients and prospects.
- Present business solutions at the executive level and promote our client's technology throughout the Federal/national security marketplace.
- Define and present compelling, customized value propositions and demonstrate our client's technology and solutions to prospects and clients.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contacts, activities, and tasks.
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years experience in meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a technology sales environment, personally closing large and complex deals
- Proven success in new account development
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work hard, be strategic, and do the right thing for the business
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Current possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with our client's sponsorship
- Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment
- Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes (particularly budgeting, acquisition, and procurement processes)
- Experience with Salesforce CRM

Our client is seeking a dynamic and influential Sales Professional to join their team. In this role, you will develop, qualify, and sell their products and services, while maintaining strong sales relationships across the national security sector of the U.S. Federal Government. This is a unique opportunity to make an immediate and measurable impact on top-line revenue growth while contributing to vital national security initiatives.

You exude a natural leadership presence and have a proven track record of selling technology solutions to government entities, particularly within the national security enterprise. Location & Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position based in Arlington, VA. The role may require up to 50% travel.
