_*Line Cook*_ Immanuel is seeking skilled Line Cooks to join our Culinary Services team for our Skilled Nursing and our Assisted Living buildings.

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking delicious meals for our residents.

The ideal candidate will have one year experience working as a cook in a Healthcare Facility cooking up to 190 people at a time.

All positions start well above minimum wage.

Prepare meals in accordance with the menu and recipes.
Adhere to residents' special diet restrictions.
Provide proper food transportation, plate-up and portion control.
Ensure that residents and guests receive high quality food in a timely manner.
Perform tasks as assigned on cleaning schedule.
Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.
Update documentation of temperature and equipment logs.
Meet regularly with the Culinary Services Director regarding menus, service, procedures, etc.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
Stock supplies, as needed.
Adhere to safety and sanitary practices. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to cook large portions of food at one time.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work on your feet and lift routine kitchen/food boxes, tools, and equipment.
Knowledge of service standards and system.
Proper knife safety skills.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Job Requirements:
Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply).
Food Handlers Card.
Current 2-step TB test (available on-site).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role is preferred. Salary and Shift Available
This is a Full-Time Non-Exempt FLSA status position. $17.50–$19.50/hour (based on years of experience)
