    Position Summary:

    This position provides clinical nursing support to Williamson Health Medical Group by communicating clinical information to patients and businesses, scheduling tests and consultations, obtaining clinical specimens, assessing patients, performing clinical office procedures, and maintaining adequate clinical supplies.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Accurately records patient's medical history and vital signs.
    2. Gives patients immunizations and injections as appropriate.
    3. Counsels patients on health-related issues.
    4. Orders and maintains clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
    5. Coordinates referrals & consultations to other medical services.
    6. Phlebotomy for outpatient clinic.
    7. Triage phone calls and addresses patient portal messages.
    8. Obtains prior authorization for medications and diagnostic testing.
    9. Assists physician with med/surg procedures.
    10. Processes physician orders for patient lab tests.
    11. Maintains quality assurance for office lab.
    12. Coordinates with pharmacies to ensure patients have adequate supplies of medicine.

    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Phlebotomy Experience Required - FT Days - WH Medical Group Cool Springs

    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Williamson Health involves providing clinical nursing support, including patient assessments, specimen collection, and scheduling tests. The role emphasizes quality care through effective communication and collaboration within a healthcare setting. Candidates are required to have experience in a medical office, a nursing diploma, and proficiency in clinical procedures and equipment.

    Requirements:

    • Nursing Diploma or Degree from a college or university.
    • Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
    • At least one year of experience in a medical office environment.
    • Competent in using Glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, computer, stethoscope, audio scope, business phone, and various oral and injectable medications.

    Work Environment:

    Office environment.

    Physical Effort:

    Must be able to sit, stand, communicate, in English, both orally and in writing, and lift over 20 pounds.
