    Description

    Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team

    Scope of Role:

    Location: Kissimmee, FL

    Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm

    Job Engagement: Contract

    Job Description:

    Medical Assistants play a crucial role in patient care by assisting healthcare providers in various tasks. They follow through on provider orders for treatments and ensure smooth clinical operations. Here are the key responsibilities:

    Patient Care Assistance:

    • Take patients' vital signs (such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature).
    • Conduct blood draws for lab tests.
    • Perform X-rays (if certified).
    • Assist with other medical procedures as needed.

    Certification and Training:

    • Medical Assistants typically hold certification or are actively working toward it.
    • They stay updated on best practices and guidelines related to patient care.

    Clinical Oversight:

    • Oversee day-to-day clinical care of patients.
    • Ensure patient comfort and safety during visits.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

    General Profile:

    • Limited work experience required.
    • Perform simple tasks following established procedures.
    • Seek guidance from colleagues when necessary.
    • Work is reviewed by others.

    Job Scope and Guidelines:

    • Apply knowledge and skills to routine activities.
    • Demonstrate a minimum depth of expertise in their function.
    • Respond to standard requests promptly.
    • Seek assistance for non-standard situations.
    • Solve routine problems using established procedures.
    • Collaborate within a team.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
    • Medical Assistant Certification
