Pediatric hospitalists hired to this position will be part of the Endeavor Health Department of Pediatrics and function as a Pediatric Hospitalist and function in a practice expansion to Northwest Community Hospital.
Pediatric care will include pediatric evaluation of Level 2-5 ED pediatric patients, consult on Level 1 ED Pediatric Patients, attend Extended Stay patients, neonates, and initial evaluation of adolescent psychiatry patients.
Evaluate and consult on pediatric patients arriving in the Emergency DepartmentProvide educational supervision to house-staff, students, paramedics, and EMT's on duty or on rotation in the Emergency Department
IL Medical License or License Pending
Board certified or board prepared in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics)
Experience:
ED or Immediate Care Experience (preferred)
