    What you'll be doing:

    The Tax Accountant is responsible for all aspects of tax compliance for SCP Health: filing, reporting, and planning

    Responsibilities:
    • Preparation of all tax return types: Federal, State, Local, Property, Sales/Use, Franchise and Gross Receipts Tax
    • Prepare monthly tax accruals and reconcile tax accounts
    • Process tax payments and reconcile to bank lines
    • Work closely with the Director of Tax in preparation of various documents and tax-related projects
    • Depreciation/Amortization calculations for financials and tax
    • Tax research and planning
    • Any other duties as assigned by Management
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
    • 1-3 years of relevant tax experience required
    • Public accounting experience in tax a plus
    • OneSource Provision and Income Tax Software experience a plus
    • Ability to learn and adapt
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Must be a team player and work well with others
    • Must be able to work under moderate stress and pressure while maintaining a 1-3 years of relevant tax experience required
