    As a Senior Tax Accountant , you will play a crucial role in our client's tax department, assisting with a variety of tax compliance tasks including monthly sales tax, business personal property tax returns, unclaimed property reporting and more.

    You will work closely with the VP of Tax, Tax Director, two Tax Managers and collaborate with various departments across the organization.


    Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities:
    Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Sales tax returnsOversee Unclaimed Property ReportingSchedule Federal and State Tax PaymentsAssist in responding to various tax noticesConduct research on tax compliance issues and legislative changesAssist with various types of tax registrations in various jurisdictionsWork closely with all levels of the organization

    Senior Tax Accountant Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance3+ years of experience in an accounting or tax environmentUnderstanding of state sales and use tax lawsUnderstanding of personal property tax lawGeneral understanding of income/franchise taxCPA preferredAbility to handle multiple concurrent tasks in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood research and analytical skillsHigh level of intellectual curiosity and ability to learn and communicate technical conceptsSkilled in the use of Excel including V-look up and advanced pivot tablesHands-on, efficient organizational skills and strong attention to detailIf you are interested in this role and meet the qualifications, please apply todayThank you,Brad WhitlockProject ManagerLaSalle NetworkLaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
