Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the operations of our child care facility.

The Child Care Director will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care, as well as managing the staff and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs and activities that promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to enrollment, attendance, and child development
• Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
• Manage the daily operations of the child care facility, including scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing supplies
• Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and accreditation standards
• Stay uptodate with current trends and best practices in early childhood education

Skills:

• Higher education teaching experience in early childhood education or related field
• Strong leadership skills with experience in education administration
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their wellbeing and development
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and community members
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Experience working with diverse populations of students
