Summary
The Guest Relations Supervisor oversees the guest relations team, ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with industry regulations. They manage daily operations, resolve escalated issues, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, the Guest Relations Supervisor is responsible for supervising, training and mentoring staff to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge. Working together to ensure the delivery of an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Creates an exceptional customer service experience with guests.
- Improving customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth.
- Assume responsibility for customer issues and ensure their resolution.
- Establish a clear mission and implement strategies aligned with it.
- Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required.
- Managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries.
- Working knowledge of medical and retail products.
- Helps facilitate the flow of traffic within Planet 13.
- Communicates in the moment updates and reminders to the Guest Relations Manager as needed.
- Responsible for running in-store traffic reports.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure
- Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises a total of 5+ employees in the Guest Relations Department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with an Inventory/POS system is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be 21 years of age or older.
NV State Agent Card Required.
OSHA 10 Required (company paid) to be completed within 6 months of hiring.
