    Description

    The Account Executive II initiates contact with existing and potential customers and sells appropriate product and educates the customer where necessary to meet their needs and promote customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as assigned to meet Garrison's goals. This position requires some travel to tradeshow, seminars, and other events with the expectation of at least 3 events annually.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Manages assigned accounts and maximizes inbound (IB) calls by cross-selling and up-selling products.
    • Completes business-to-business (B2B) sales calls to current, former, and prospective customers to meet and exceed trimester (TM) objectives.
    • Develops relationships with key contacts and decision-makers through outbound and inbound calls while offering new and existing products.
    • Educates key contacts and decision-makers on product usage, ratings, safety, and performance.
    • Processes customer orders accurately and ensures quality customer service by resolving and documenting customer complaints and returns.
    • Ensures accuracy of customer data in the Customer Relations Management (CRM) database by confirming and updating profiles when taking orders or making outbound (OB) calls.
    • Provides live product demos and educates potential customers in a virtual environment.
    • Acts as company representative at several annual trade shows, seminars, and other networking events.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced telephone sales environment making 100+ OB calls per day

    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and math skills

    • Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation and closing skills.

    • Ability to handle objections and resolve client concerns.

    • Must possess a positive, can-do attitude.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar customer database.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends

    Education and Experience

    • Proven experience in inside sales, account management, or a similar role.

    • At least two years of B2B sales experience with proven ability to close sales.

    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and stretch goals

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and talking on the telephone.

    • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

    • Ability to travel regularly and spend long periods in a vehicle.

    • Valid driver's license and no major driving violations.

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times during travel.
