    Reports to: Executive Director
    Hours: 15 hours per week (Potential increase depending on additional abilities and experience)
    Location: On-site at US Digital Outreach Center, 1400 NE 136th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684

    MarriageTeam is a faith-based, nonprofit that trains Christian couples to be marriage coaches and provides marriage coaching services. MarriageTeam has helped more than 2000 couples since 2006. Vision: Restored and enriched marriages which glorify God and create united families, thriving children, stronger churches and healthier communities.

    Position Overview
    Marriage Team is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to join the team and support the financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a Christian, nonprofit environment. This role offers opportunity to contribute to restoring marriages across the United States and beyond.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and DonorSnap.

    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.

    • Support the creation of financial and donor reports.

    • Prepare necessary filings for state Charity Registration, B&O Taxes, PCI Certification, etc.

    • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the organization's Vision and Mission.

    • Fully support and embody the MarriageTeam vision, mission and values, and Statement of Faith.

    • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    • Safeguard confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.

    • Possess strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.

    • Be innovative and proactive in contributing to the continuous improvement of the organizational.

    Professional Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.

    • Understanding of basic accounting principles; at least two years of bookkeeping experience preferred.

    • Proficiency in operating QuickBooks software.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software.

    Other Considerations

    • Support trainings and events outside normal working hours as requested.

    • Attend a coach training (with your spouse, if married) to become marriage coaches if desired.
