ResponsibilitiesAbout Henderson Hospital Henderson Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of acute care and specialty hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in Henderson, NV, the acute care hospital offers emergency care, surgical services, including an outpatient surgery center, cardiovascular care, women's health and maternity services, including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, outpatient wound care and a freestanding emergency department. It is accredited as an Advanced Primary Heart Attack Center, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and as a bronze-level Geriatric Emergency Department (GEDA). Henderson Hospital has also been honored by The Leapfrog Group as a Top General Hospital, a Top Teaching Hospital and earned the A Patient Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group during its last 10 award cycles. The hospital opened in 2016.

Job Description:
Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
Shift: PER DIEM VARIED
Education:
Currently enrolled an in accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester of the nursing program.
License/Certification:
Current BLS certification.
Other:
Nurse Apprentice must provide most current competency check-off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the patient.
