    We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Substitutes to join our team at Russell County School District. As a Nurse Substitute, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to students in our schools.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide direct patient care to students in our schools, including administering medications, performing health assessments, and developing individualized care plans.
    • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student health information, as well as medication administration and treatment plans.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

    • A current Alabama RN license (Registered Nurse) or LPN's (licensed practical nurse) certification.
    • Experience working with children and adolescents in a healthcare setting preferred.
    • Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama Statutes and State Board of Education regulations.
