    Director of Respiratory / Cardiopulmonary located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

    The Director of Respiratory Therapy has overall responsibility for the administration of care and life-support systems to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the pulmonary system.

    Directs all in-patient and outpatient respiratory services. Keeps informed of developments in pulmonary care services. Responsibility for administering services, which provide diagnostic and technical support to physicians, involved in assessing the functions of patients.

    Assigns, supervises, and coordinates technical and clerical personnel engaged in diagnostic and laboratory procedures involving the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disorders.

    Qualifications
    EDUCATION/TRAINING/


    EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University required in related field. Master's degree from an accredited College or University preferred in related field.

    Five (5) to Seven (7) years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care with demonstrated management or leadership abilities and acute care experience.

    CERTIFICATIONS/


    LICENSES:
    Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
    Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required.
    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.
    Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.
