    Are you interested in a Leadership role in the Food Service industry?

    If you possess integrity, a positive can-do attitude, a strong character, and are comfortable working in a structured environment, then Tigg's Canteen Services invites you to consider the opportunity of becoming a Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time Lead Cook for the Midland County Jail located in Midland MI.

    We provide a competitive compensation package with the following benefits:

    • Starting pay of $16.00 per hour for this position.
    • Medical coverage (Full-Time)

    Key Qualifications:

    • Capability to excel in a structured correctional setting.
    • Proficiency in following company recipes accurately.
    • Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in meal preparation tasks such as food crafting, cooking, baking, and cleaning.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
    • Availability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
    • Flexibility to work different shifts - varying days and hours (ranging from 9:00am to 5:30pm)
    • Authorization to access the facility

    Prior experience in food service or kitchens is beneficial, although we are willing to provide training to the right candidate!
