Job Description

As a Security Officer - Bike Response Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a professional property location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and support tenants and visitors with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and escalating concerns per post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.

Monitor access points, check doors and gates for signs of tampering, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes as directed by site procedures.

Complete routine reports such as activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be able to ride a bike.

A guard card or license is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
