Job summary
Type1 Compute develops neuromorphic processors for defense edge computing. We deliver sub-millisecond deterministic latency at <1W power consumption where GPUs physically fail (temperature extremes, power constraints).
Responsibilities
- DoW Customer Engagement Build relationships with PEOs and program managers across Army Navy Air Force Space Force SOCOM Identify Programs of Record where neuromorphic computing addresses capability gaps Conduct discovery to gather hard requirements performance thresholds acquisition timelines Position solutions within acquisition pathways SBIR Phase III OTAs Middle Tier Acquisition FAR contracts Pipeline & Opportunity Management Track DoW budget cycles and align BD activities to PPBE milestones Monitor RFIs BAAs SBIR/STTR topics across DARPA AFRL SOCOM Space Force Develop pursuit strategies including teaming with defense primes Raytheon Northrop Lockheed BAE L3Harris Create target account plans for high-value opportunities Requirements Translation Translate warfighter needs and operational requirements into technical specifications Validate solutions address actual DoW capability gaps Provide feedback loops between field deployments and product development SBIR/STTR Execution Identify relevant topics aligned with capabilities Support proposals with operational context and program manager connections Navigate Phase I → Phase II → Phase III transitions
