Position Summary:
Responsible for overall management of the residential facility to assure the safety, nurturance, and care of the residents. The residential facility serves youth 18-21 who are at high risk or affected by commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking.
The clinical manager ensures that youth accessing treatment in the residential facility have access to competent, highly effective and compassionate care.
The clinical manager works closely with the program clinician to ensure youth have access to group, individual and family treatment that is strength based, youth centered, trauma-informed and harm reduction focused.
Supervise program staff, program budget, staff scheduling, program purchases, strategic planning. Ensure compliance of all required trainings for all program staff in accordance with agency/state regulations. Supervise and support staff utilizing Trauma Systems Therapy and other evidence-based treatments.Qualifications:
Master's Degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required.
LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, preferred.
Experience working with youth at risk or affected by commercial sexual exploitation required.
Experience implementing evidence-based treatment required.
Experience with Substance Use Disorders preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Willingness and capability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as scheduled and on-call responsibilities.
Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, racial and socioeconomic issues.
Capabilities to implement appropriate child management techniques, which may include use of passive physical restraint.
Excellent communication skills.
Requires current driver's license, reliable transportation with a minimum of 3 seats in addition to the driver's seat and proof of automobile insurance.
Bilingual skills are compensatedPhysical Requirements:
This position requires residential and community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:
Travel to and from community locations and residential site locations, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to push or pull 10 lbs or more
Ability to pick up 10 lbs or more
Ability to perform restraint techniques if needed and deal with physically aggressive people
