This position will report directly to the Firmware Manager.We are seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to support our efforts in building world-class mobile solutions for our direct-to-consumer products, as well as our business partners.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKEAs an embedded software/firmware developer you will be working on next-generation Digital door Lock products developing embedded firmware applications in BLE, Zigbee, WiFi, and other network technologiesYou will work with internal and/or contract firmware developers and system engineers involved in design and system architecture discussions, hardware analysis, and application designProgramming and debugging the code, writing automated test scripts on features developed/integrated, working with co-developers in code review, code optimization, power management, etcCollaborate with the hardware team during design, development, and integrationParticipate in code review process, unit testing, feature integration work, and assist team workers with best coding techniques in building best embedded firmware applicationsREQUIREMENTS
BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications EngineeringStrong embedded systems knowledgeProficient with C, RTOS, Git, and JiraExperience in design, development, and testing of complex, multi-threaded embedded IoT applications, and communication protocols via I2c, SPI, UART, and othersSpecializing in optimizations for code size, execution speed, memory usage, task scheduler and interrupt controlling, exception handling, and power management5+ years of professional experience working on embedded systems.
