    Due to programmatic expansion, our Forensics Department is excited to be adding the newly created position of First ResponderClinician to join the team in a full-time position. The First Responder Clinician offers support, diagnostic assessment, counseling, intervention and consultation within the community of First Responders. This position is responsible for individual and group services as well as assisting in efforts to implement and sustain programming related to behavioral health and first responders within Lake County. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

    Additionally, this role will be responsible for:

    • Services provided in office in conjunction with some tele-health, as well as community based work dependent upon client acuity/need.
    • Assisting in training needs and consultation for First Responders in Peer Support services and behavioral health needs.
    • Providing on call triage to First Responders Helpline to assist in timely linkage to service needs.
    • Ensure effective collaboration to ensure successful partnerships on new initiatives.

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelors acceptable with 3 years of experience. Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience required.
    • Licensed in the state of Ohio with LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC
