Description
RoleThe purpose of the QA Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the quality department to enhance customer satisfaction, minimize risks and support the company's overall success.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and protocols.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, including but not limited to GMP and SQFDevelop training programs for production floor staff.
Lead the ERP program for all QA needs, including hold and release.Oversight of root cause investigations for food safety and/or quality-related issuesHelp resolve and document customer complaints. Monitor and maintain environmental programs, corrective actions, trending analysis and monitor food safety logs and testing.
Collaborates across functions to ensure implementation of new or changes processes.
Evaluate facility compliance with regards to food safety requirementsPrepare for and participate in audits. Gather and present information as needed.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull, and stand for up to 10 hours a day.
Lifting requirements are 25lb regularly and up to 50lb occasionally. Exposure to variation in temperatureWorking with uncooked, cooked, frozen products.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Some travel required. Between SF Plants is required on a regular basis. May require some out of town travel to visit co-man/vendors.
