    supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (AF PEO NC3) at

    What you'll be doing:


    Manages the system/application Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts, including assessing and guiding the quality and completeness of A&A activities, tasks, and resulting artifacts mandated by governing DoD and Department of the Air Force policies (i.e., RMF).

    Develops and conducts a Continuous Monitoring plan in support of A&A activities to maintain ongoing awareness of cybersecurity, vulnerabilities, and threats to facilitate risk-based decision making.

    Ensures implementation of IS security measures and procedures including reporting incidents to the appropriate reporting chains and coordinating system-level responses to unauthorized disclosures in accordance with DoD Manual , Volume 3 for classified information or DoD Manual , Volume 4 for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), respectively.

    Ensures handling of possible or actual data spills of classified information resident in ISs, is conducted in accordance with DoD , Volume 3.

    Maintains and reports system assessment and authorization status and issues in accordance with DoD Component guidance.
    Performs cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews.
    Ensures ISSMs are appointed in writing and provides oversight to ensure they are following established cybersecurity policies and procedures.

    What you'll need:
    Security Clearance Required:

    Secret

    One of the following education/experience combinations:
    Master's degree in Information Systems or related field and 10+ years' information assurance experience, OR
    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field and 12+ years' information assurance experience, OR
    18+ years information assurance experience in lieu of degree
    In-depth understanding of advanced information management concepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance.
    Meet the Advanced level qualification requirements for Information System Security Manager (722) or Vulnerability Assessment Analyst (54) as outlined in DoD Cyber Workforce Framework -DoDI , DoDI , and DoDM

    Benefits & Compensation:


    Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with a HSA and HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military and jury duty paid leaves.

    Regular part time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.

    This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
    The base pay for this position is

    $116,000 to $192,500

    across the U.S. There is also a different range applicable for specific work locations.

    Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training and education.
