    Description
    Position Purpose:

    Responsible for all placement and replacement of all children in Foster homes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Work with CFSA to identify children in need of Foster home placement.
    • Match Foster children to Foster homes, ensuring that children are placed in appropriate settings based on their age, sex and needs.
    • Identify Foster homes for children in need of respite.
    • Respond to On-call placement issues Monday through Thursday.
    • Coordinate transportation for placements, replacements, and emergency respites with the Transportation team.
    • Attends Placement Stability Meetings
    • Enters all placements into Social Solutions (ETO) within 48 hours of placement.
    • Communicates all client movement to the NCCF placement list serve within 2 hours of the movement.
    • Verifies all initial placements and transfer homes within 24 hours of client movement.
    • Participates in the daily 9:30am Flash Call to communicate all client movements occurring within
    24 hours

    Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Position Requirements:
    • A Bachelors degree in Human Services or a related field with 2 years of experience
    • Ability to speak and write with clarity.
    • An attitude compatible with the goals and purposes of The National Center for Children and Families.
    Physical Demands/Work Environment:

    While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Vision abilities include close vision with a computer monitor. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
