    "Overview:


    Under moderate direction, the Pharmacy Automation Analyst is responsible for the design, build, testing and support of software applications intended to maintain or advance the clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements associated with medication management.

    Works with hospital leadership, clinical department users, IS and other departments to facilitate usage and stability of software. Solve or escalate issues and tasks requiring attention associated with software and associated workflows. Support system documentation necessary to maintain change management requirements and system stability. Build and maintain security models intended to maximize end-user functionality while also maximizing system stability. Work towards standardization across the ministry. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    High School Diploma or equivalence exam


    Licensure:

    Current State Technician License or minimum of 3 years of experience in either or both inpatient pharmacy and software application management

    Experience:
    Thorough knowledge of the clinical environment including practices, procedures, policies, strengths and weaknesses


    Certification/Registration:
    None required

    Other Skills and Knowledge:
    Basic experience with Microsoft Office ProductsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a complex technical environmentPreferred QualificationsEducation:
    Bachelor's Degree

    Licensure:

    Current State Technician License in good standing

    Experience:
    3 years of relevant pharmacy experience and 3 years of software application managementCertification/Registration: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)/Certification Board (PTCB)


    Other Skills and Knowledge:
    Advanced experience with Microsoft Tools
