Description
A pharmacist at Lake Granbury Medical Center is expected to compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment.
The pharmacist is responsible for transferring prescriptions, handling incoming physician calls, logging data into the computer, and Drug Utilization Review.
The pharmacist relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Pharmacists are expected to perform a variety of tasks, use a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required and they typically reports to a manager.
Education:
Requires a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in pharmacy and is licensed to practice.
Experience: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
License/Certification: Texas Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist license is required upon hire
