    Architects and Designers drive the demand for our client's business through the specifications process and this community is central to thier sales process.

    They have an established A&D Sales team spread across Western Canada and are now looking for a Business Development leader to pull together the team, align sales processes and activities, and play an active role on the leadership team in defining the organization's go-to-market strategy as it pertains to the A&D Community.


    Focused on the BC market, but spending time with all of the business in Western Canada, this person will play an active role in the senior leadership meetings promoting the needs of the customer and educating the business on market trends, feedback from the market, and finding ways to maximize the organization's engagement with the Architect and Designer Community.


    Working closely with the A&D Specifications Representatives, this person will mentor and coach the sales people to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, will evaluate and look to improve sales processes across the business, and ensure the efficiency of the sales effort by defining the customers, products and projects to target.


    We are looking for someone able to unify the sales team, to inspire individuals, and to develop a coordinated team effort to become the supplier of choice for the Architecture and Design segment nationally.


    Culturally sensititive to different locations' requirements and differences in customer demand from market to market, this individual will be adaptable enough to create a vision for the business that inpires each location, seeks out opportunities that span locations, and brings together a singular focus for organization success from every inidvidual within it.

    The successful individual will have a deep understanding of the Architecture and Design Industry and the specifications process therein.

    They will be able to win hearts and minds and will likley have been in some form of leadership role in the past.

    They will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and an ability to build strategy beyond singualr accounts and across a market.

    Experience beyond the BC market would be highly valued.

    We need a coach and a mentor, an ambassador for the organization, with outstanding salesmanship, and someone able to navigate the internal structures of an organization and create one single vision for success.
