- Perform media preparation, accurately measuring and dispensing, in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information
- Perform basic laboratory support functions such as laboratory inventory management, arranging for calibration and maintenance of equipment, lab housekeeping, and receiving of production samples and laboratory supplies
- Communicate and coordinate activities with vendors
- Assist in preparing test supplies
- Clean and prepare lab glassware and supplies
- Operate and clean supporting equipment (e.g autoclaves, dishwashers, etc)
- Assist in maintaining laboratory paperwork
- Other incidental duties
- Good computer skills with proven ability to use computer-based programs
- Ability to read, comprehend, speak, and write English
- Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Basic knowledge of laboratory processes
- Basic knowledge in mathematics, e.g., decimals and percentage
- Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
- Strict attention to detail
