    Commercialand Private Banking Associate

    Position Summary:


    This position reports to the Commercial and Private BankingOfficer or Senior Commercial and Private Banking Officer/Market Leader and isresponsible for managing the loan and deposit portfolio developed by theofficer as well as assisting others in the department, including the Commercialand Private Banking Officers and Manager.

    EssentialFunctions:


    • Manage customer portfolios.
    • Maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
    • Provide departmentalcoverage as it relates to phone and walk-in clients to assist with banking andloan needs.
    • Assist clients inopening new accounts, and identify sales opportunities for other bankingproducts and services, based on client needs.
    • Be well versed onall banking products to answer client questions, and explain available services.
    • Contact clients withmaturing CD's to ensure retention.
    • Investigateelectronic banking issues and provide assistance, if possible, or refer toappropriate bank personnel for correction.
    • Adhere to all bankpolicies and compliance standards.
    • Assisting others indepartment with workflow as deemed appropriate by manager.
    • Manage dailyoverdrafts for department and make recommendations to officer for disposition,depending on position level.
    • Obtain and compilecopies of loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements,and other financial information.
    • Assist with orhandle the preparation of all materials needed to initiate lendingtransactions.
    • Complete and retainsall compliance-related documents, especially as related to flood, RESPA, HMDAand all other regulatory requirements.
    • Assist with ormanage and clear exceptions, depending on position level.
    • Assist with ormanager past due loans, depending on position level.
    • Run credit reports.
    • May prepare loanvouchers and supporting documentation to present loan package for approval.
    • May attend loanclosings to represent Resource Bank.
    • Sign official checks, depending on position level.
    • Analyze and make recommendation for lending below certain amounts,depending on position level.
    • Administrativesupport as directed by Officer.
    • Responsible formarketing Resource Bank in the public arena through personal and professionalcontacts.
    • Other dutiesnecessary to maintain an efficient department.
    • All other dutiesassigned.

    Experience and Education:

    Associates degree preferred but a combination of educationand work experience will be considered. HighSchool Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required. Over 1 years of banking/lending support experiencepreferred. Will consider previous branchbanking experience as acceptable.
