    • Starting pay for this position is $35.07/hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity.

    POSITION SUMMARY:


    Reporting to the manager/director and according to departmental policies and nursing care standards, assist in overseeing and directing work of nursing personnel engaging in providing patient/nursing care services to patients on assigned shifts.

    Demonstrates accountability for ensuring safe high quality patient care, enhance the patient /family experience, and provide effective leadership contributing to the delivery of the organization's objectives.

    Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, and serves as a resource person for unit personnel resolving operational and patient care problems.


    QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 3 years of date of hire into role


    License/Certifications:
    Current State License as a Registered Nurse required.
    BLS and ACLS, PALS, or other certification as required by unit.


    Experience:
    2 years of experience on the unit or similar unit required

    Other Skills/Knowledge:
    Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively lead and direct the work of other employees in order to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians
