    SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $75,000 DOE. The Events Services Manager effectively and proactively monitors the functions that have been assigned to them.This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading various events, such as and not limited to: weddings, birthdays, celebrations of life, golf events, etc.This also includes working and communicating closely with all hotel departments and to ensure a successful and effective event resulting in an impeccable guest experience.

    Essential Functions

    • Must adhere to the company's Service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
    • Must align with KSL's TBO Strategy and focus on recruiting and retaining top talent.
    • Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
    • Meet with the guests to understand their functions requirements, offer suggestions, and determine all set-up needs, food and beverage requirements and equipment.
    • Conduct site inspections focusing on the key selling points of the resort as well as highlighting its features and benefits.
    • The ability to create BEOs highlighting all the necessary details of the function.
    • Closely work with the banquets team to ensure the successful execution of the events.
    • The ability to upsell additional services provided by the resort.
    • Maintain great relationships with the existing vendors and must be able to select new vendors, if required.
    • Stay on trend with the events scene around Napa Valley and maintain awareness of new and modern approaches in the catering world.
    • Maintain compliance with Silverado Resort policies, standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operation of the resort.
    • Perform other duties as requested by management.
    • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
    Work Conditions and Schedule
    • Weekend and holiday availability is required as well as flexibility with work schedule.
    • The scope of the position may sometimes require a work week over 40 hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
    • The role may require standing and walking for an extended period of time.
    • Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
