- Facilitate psychotherapeutic workshop series in Anger Management and domestic violence (DV) remotely and/or in-person. Some evening hours, up to twice per week for classes may be needed.
- Provide short-term individual and didactic therapy for a caseload up to 20 mothers remotely and/or in-person.
- Complete assessments, reports and maintain progress notes via Theranest and ASARA.
- Participate in weekly meetings, as needed.
- Assist in managing behavioral health crises for the participants served by the Strong Mothers program.
- Other duties as assigned.
- LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC licensure preferred, Limited Permit
- 2+ years of work experience in social services
- Fluency in Spanish required
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to engage populations with a history of trauma
- Knowledge of or experience in working with families affected by domestic violence
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule
- Masters/License - $50,000 - $62,500
- Masters/License/Bilingual- $52,000 - $65,000

Job DescriptionForestdale's Strong Mothers Program helps mothers plan for a better future by making wise choices in parenting and sexual health. A sample of core services includes: parenting skills training to foster nurturing and secure attachment; counseling to help women find stable living environments (88% of our young women experience domestic violence); doula matching to help women with prenatal, labor, and post-natal support; and access to material resources for food and clothing.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Strong Mothers' program leadership, the Clinician enhances these services with the provision of behavioral health interventions to program participants who exhibit a history of trauma. The person in this role will use a participant-centered, trauma-informed approach to delivery of care. S/he will also ensure agency standards of practice are upheld via clinical practice, crisis management, documentation/record-keeping, staff education, and government mandates.
