    What is the Cook experience?

    As a Cook at Willamette View, you will manage the day-to-day operational aspects of food production, working as a vital member of a dynamic production team. In this role, you are expected to:

    • Collaborate with a team to execute daily food production according to departmental quality standards.
    • Build relationships with team members and support functional groups through effective feedback and communication.
    • Additionally, meeting attendance,
    • Follow all departmental and established safety rules.
    • Adhere to current federal, state, and local standards, as well as HACCP, sanitation, and food handling protocols, and other applicable guidelines and regulations throughout all areas of your role.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and the Food & Beverage Director.
    What are the job qualifications?
    • Prefer one-year experience in all phases of food production for a high-volume kitchen operation.
    • An associate degree in Culinary Arts or a combination of education and experience is preferred.
    • Must have a Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
    • Must have basic math skills.
    • Must consent to and pass a criminal background check
