- Status: Full-Time, Exempt
- Reports To: Director of Women and Children's Ministry
- Hours: Monday-Friday, occasional evenings and weekends as required
- Partner with other Shepherd's Door managers to create an equipping culture where program participants grow in community through staff, intern, and volunteer engagement; peer-to-peer interactions; church attendance; and a deepening relationship with Jesus
- Conduct hiring, management, and development of the Recovery Team (Case Managers, Relapse Prevention Specialist, Counselor and Intake Specialist) while following New Life Ministries procedures and CADC practices in attaining Portland Rescue Mission goals of transforming participant lives and equipping the local church
- Provide Christ-centered recovery case management for up to 7 program participants by discerning and addressing individual needs and core struggles resulting in life transformation
- Oversee the growth process and phase advancement for program participants ensuring consistent progress in all areas of each participant's Growth Plan which include Christian maturity, recovery, life skills, relationships, vocation, parenting (as needed) resulting in appropriate and timely phase advancement with the goal of successfully completing the New Life program
- Clearly communicate with Shepherd's Door staff regarding the ongoing growth of each program participant through the use of the following tools: DAP case notes, Resident Growth Plan, the Resident Tracker Database, and weekly Participant Review meeting
- Support ministry operations at Shepherd's Door, being available for necessary program operations (e.g. UA/BA, exits, med call, crisis counseling) and teaching classes and leading groups as needed
- Integrate the gospel and biblical principles in all aspects of the work so that program participants grow towards Christian maturity
- A passionate relationship with Jesus Christ and a testimony of continued growth in faith
- A calling to serve women and women with children impacted by homelessness and addiction
- Alcohol/drug certification (CADC I minimum, CADC II or above preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years experience in addressing substance use disorder including proficiency in chemical dependency, addictions recovery, counseling/teaching specific to relapse prevention, and Christian spiritual formation
- Experience working in teams and supervising recovery staff
- Agreement with Portland Rescue Mission's Statement of Faith and Code of Ethics
- A personal ethos and work ethic that reflects Portland Rescue Mission's ministry culture - Highly Relational, Christ-Centered, Joyful Servant
- Skilled in documentation, organization, scheduling, and instruction

Portland Rescue Mission is seeking a Women's Addictions Recovery Team Manager.

THE PLACE
Shepherd's Door, Portland Rescue Mission's women's facility, is set in a retreat-like setting located in East Portland, designed specifically to support the transformation and growth of women, and women with children, impacted by homelessness and addiction.
THE POSITION
The Women's Addictions Recovery Team Manager will serve program participants experiencing life transformation by overseeing the delivery of case management and addictions recovery program components, ensuring that all program participants have the opportunity to experience healing and training in relapse prevention resulting in sustained recovery.
This person will directly care for up to 7 participants in recovery, manage the Recovery Team (5-7 staff) and ensure a culture of equipping and partnership so that staff, interns, and volunteers are mobilized to serve and program participants experience growth in Christ, addictions recovery, relational skills, and emotional stability.
