    Job Title: Sales Associate

    About The Role

    The Sales Associate will be a key member of our Store Leadership Team, working to achieve company goals and initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide exceptional customer service by being aware of customer activity and responding with urgency, while prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
    • Greet and acknowledge customers, providing the appropriate level of service and effectively communicating value and quality of our merchandise.
    • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns and demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
    • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap, educating customers on the benefit of the PLACE Card.
    • Maintain stock levels, ensuring all sizes and styles are represented and adhere to company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
    • Support a neat, clean, and organized stockroom, adhering to a customer-ready environment and safety requirements.
    • Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard and guarantee company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
    • Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs promptly to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
    • Contribute focused efforts towards achievement of store goals and exhibit flexibility by processing stock when necessary.

    Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous retail experience preferred.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Excellent customer engagement and time management skills.
    • Able to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts.
    • Able to maneuver on sales floor and stockroom, climb ladder, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
